A mural by Elisa Caracciolo covers the entire block on Via dei Sardi. It denounces femicide through placing the names of the women who were victims of violence and abuse by men. The sad irony is that the names have faded and they are now anonymous unknown victims
The Iranian activist who was killed due to her protests on behalf of women
The women of the Borgata or "women of the suburbs of Rome - never victims"
a huge protest against the policies of Meloni.
Women in Italy have been angry for a long time about the lack of action by centre left governments who have had to partner with centre right. There has been a decline in  conditions with regard to pay, health, legal rights and the the whole gamut of situations that lead to social disadvantage. The number of women killed due to  domestic violence is high
Their anger against Meloni springs from the fact  that she is of working class origins and, like some other female leaders, lacks empathy and understanding of the struggle of women in the society,
